New Heritage-inspired Cocktails in Singapore

TUX Bar & Lounge at the Carlton Hotel Singapore has launched its inaugural signature cocktail menu paying homage to the city’s rich culinary heritage

Ideal for corporate entertaining, the bold and innovative line-up showcases the art of mixology with a local twist. Officially launching next week, the new collection features five exquisite cocktails, priced $28, each crafted with a different spirit and inspired by well-loved local flavours.

Highlights of the new menu include the whisky-based Old Fashioned Nonya, a refined take on the classic Old Fashioned, inspired by Nonya Kueh, that captures the essence of Singapore’s rich heritage with an infusion of Pandan and Gula Melaka; the Gin-Ken Chilli Sour, a daring and tangy creation that reimagines Singapore’s iconic chicken rice chilli with a blend of garlic, chilli padi, ginger, and lime; and the curious Laksa Margarita, a bold fusion of tropical spices including laksa leaves and lemongrass. The tangy undertone balances the musky spice nuances and enhances the Peranakan flavours for discerning palates seeking an adventurous sensory experience.

Also look out for the BTC, TUX Bar & Lounge’s rendition of the familiar flavours of the trendy Boba Tea, with earthy notes of black tea with the aromatic caramel and vanilla notes of rum; and the Bandung Unplugged, a modern reinvention of the beloved Southeast Asian Bandung drink with clarified potpourri complemented by a captivating pink hue and a silky-smooth finishing mouthfeel.

For the month of March, in conjunction with Singapore World Water Day, TUX Bar & Lounge also presents the Aqua Margarita, a vibrant cocktail that is as refreshing as it is meaningful. This striking blend of Tequila, Blue Curacao and lime juice is inspired by the beauty and importance of water, reminding us that every drop counts.
