Business travellers can now continue to network and make connections in the air with MileHi, a smartphone app that allows users to engage with fellow passengers on flights, and is aimed specifically at frequent business travellers.

MileHi corresponds with ICAO and IATA data so that once registered, users can enter details of their flights and send a message to anyone travelling on the same flight and also using the app.

Users can also choose to send direct private messages to particular passengers.

To maximise potential connections, the app has a swipe option that allows users to see users that are travelling to the same destination and on the same flight number the day before or after their flight.

For those wanting to connect with business prospects, the app also lets users send private messages, which could be used, for example, to arrange airport meetings, or ensure you’re seated with particular passengers so you can have meetings onboard.

“The app is perfect for those who happen to be going to the same conference or the same city to do business,” said MileHi founder Richard Lloyd.”For example, users could arrange to share a taxi from the arrival airport to save on business expenses. This application has been designed from the ground up to allow an easy and convenient way for passengers to connect prior to travel. Business users can now network with peers travelling on the same flight and maximise the potential of their time onbaoard a flight.
