Langham Hospitality Group has opened The Langham Hefei, marking another milestone for the group’s continued expansion in China.

Hefei is the capital and largest city of Anhui Province in China, known for its rich history and multicultural influences. Strategically located in the city’s new administration and cultural centre, The Langham, Hefei – which was originally scheduled to open in 2016 – is in the heart of the dynamic business, shopping and entertainment districts.

Designed by Bilkey Llinas Design, the 339 guestrooms and suites are private sanctuaries with panoramic views over the city. The interiors are sophisticated with a warm colour palette and specially designed contemporary furnishings. Ranging from a spacious 45 square metres for the Deluxe Room to a luxurious and generous space of 247 square metres for the Presidential Suite, stays at The Langham, Hefei offers business travellers the epitome of luxury.

The new Langham hotel offers four unique dining concepts. Seasons, a vibrant all-day restaurant, offers a wide spread of buffet selection and à la carte menu featuring international cuisine. Guests can indulge in authentic Cantonese cuisine and local delicacies at T’ang Court, presenting signature and award-winning dishes from the Michelin-starred namesake restaurants in Hong Kong and Shanghai.

The speciality lobby lounge, Palm Court overlooks the beautiful courtyard garden, a perfect setting where Afternoon Tea will be served. A mid-day indulgence first served at The Langham, London since 1865, speciality teas, delicate savoury and sweet pastries will be served in fine, exquisite “Langham Rose” Wedgwood china specially created for The Langham hotels globally. The Bar at the hotel offers a wide selection of wines, premium spirits and unique cocktails and is the perfect gathering place.

Positioned to be the social centre of Hefei’s community and a preferred venue to host key events and conferences in the city, the hotel’s luxurious Grand Ballroom spans 1,380 square metres and can accommodate up to 910 guests. Equipped with today’s high technology facilities, the individual meeting and function rooms range from 33 up to 450 square metres and each room can be flexibly configured for smaller gatherings, business meetings or private celebrations.

Chuan Spa will also feature at The Langham, Hefei. The award-winning spa and wellness brand will focus on holistic treatments through integrating the principles of traditional Chinese medicine using the five elemental forces of wood, fire, earth, metal and water to relax and invigorate the body, mind and soul. The hotel also boasts of a state of the art fitness facilities at the health club and a 25.8-metre swimming pool so guests can continue with their fitness regime during their travels.
