Kerry Hotel Pudong Introduces a New Meeting Concept

China’s Kerry Hotel Pudong, Shanghai has introduced a new concept, “Work & Play”, which will provide a variety of venues, tailored food, and beverage options, and modern team-building facilitation, enhancing the hotel’s MICE packages while offering corporates more meetings and events options.

The Kerry Pudong provides flexible meeting and banqueting facilities with more than 8,500sqm of space, including a 2,230sqm Shanghai Ballroom and a 1,018sqm Pudong Ballroom. These venues are created to meet various kinds of meeting requests, from sales meetings, training meetings, and association meetings, to consumer/marketing events, incentive programs, and trade shows.

The Kerry Dome, located on the fifth-floor upper deck of the hotel, has recently finished its transformation in look and style. Spanning 388sqm, the Dome with a vast outdoor terrace can accommodate up to 320 people and offers a high-efficiency setup and a customisable floor-plan flexible for a wide range of event arrangements, complemented by views of the city skyline and the Century Park.

The Meeting Lab, located on the third floor of the Tower Function Rooms, encourages a healthy lifestyle and happy atmosphere for high productive meetings and events by providing high tables, block chairs, bean bags, and yoga balls to clients.

The Kerry culinary team will position two mobile food trucks on Level 3, one themed “Beauty” and the other “Beast”, to showcase the culture of the city. The hotel’s dedicated teams of professionals in MICE have also revamped the food and beverage menu to ensure a satisfactory and unforgettable meeting experience.

Apart from the customised venue and revamped food and beverage choices, lifestyle team-building activities, from brewery tours with the hotel’s resident brewmaster to Tai Chi in Century Park, provide exciting options catering for corporates’ needs.
