Hyatt Regency Sydney Opens New Regency Club

Hyatt Regency Sydney has unveiled a brand new Regency Club, an exciting development in the 878-room hotel.

Regency Club is available to guests who book a Regency Club room or suite, as well as World of Hyatt Globalist and Lifetime Globalist members. World of Hyatt members can also use their points to upgrade to a Regency Club room or suite, treating themselves to a seriously swanky stay in Sydney’s CBD.

Nestled on the eleventh floor, the chic club offers the discerning traveller a sophisticated space to enjoy Hyatt’s renowned personalised service and comes with a myriad of privileges and benefits; including exclusive check-in, dedicated concierge service, complimentary continental breakfast from 7 am daily, and evening canapés and complimentary beverages from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm daily.

Designed by contemporary architectural practice, COX, the space is bathed in natural light, with large bi-fold windows that offer breathtaking views of Darling Harbour and the city skyline.

A warm aesthetic sees the colour palette of burnt orange and cream, mixed with soft textures and plush furnishings, creating a sense of calm and tranquillity. White linen curtains and reused furniture reupholstered in Maharam fabrics set the scene and reaffirm the hotel’s commitment to providing a sustainable offering.

Using high-quality fittings and exquisite décor, Piave honed marble intertwines the warm colour palette, while hand-crafted lights by Australian designer Sarah Ellison create an ambience of refinement and luxury, with lights expertly crafted by local blowers and artisans to create a crackle effect on the glass.

Power outlets are centrally located near all seating, with high-speed Wi-Fi available within the Club, allowing guests to work from the hotel and stay connected online.

“The opening of Regency Club further cements our continuous effort to enhance the hotel product and showcase the elevated service and experiences provided to guests and World of Hyatt members,” says Jane Lyons, General Manager, Hyatt Regency Sydney. “The opening of the Club shortly follows the launch of The Upper Deck, which is located on the same level and equally takes advantage of our pristine Harbour views.”

Hyatt’s philosophy of ‘Food Thoughtfully Sourced, Carefully Served’ naturally extends to the ever-evolving Regency Club menu. Each morning, a Regency Club Chef will prepare made-to-order eggs, omelettes and breakfast favourites, using premium produce from local suppliers. In the evening, a rotating menu with a mixture of seasonal hot and cold options will be on show – think cured meats, premium cheeses, salads and freshly cooked, bite-sized morsels like mini beef wellington and chicken satay, along with delicious desserts. From 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm daily, handpicked Australian wines, popular beers and spirits and mixers are complimentary, so guests can enjoy a tipple while watching the sunset over Darling Harbour.

A sanctuary to the business and leisure traveller, Regency Club provides the perfect balance of business and pleasure and follows the launch of The Upper Deck; an expansive event space located on Level 11 with a 48 sq m outdoor terrace and capacity to host 200 guests for cocktail style meetings and events
