Hong Kong Airlines will resume its direct service between Hong Kong and Hanoi on 19 December 2025.
The resumption of the Hanoi service not only enhances Hong Kong Airlines’ network coverage across Southeast Asia but also reinforces the company’s commitment to strengthening connectivity along the “Belt and Road” region, facilitating trade, and promoting cultural and economic exchange.
Moreover, the route will provide a better connection to Hong Kong Airlines’ international network, offering seamless connections to long-haul destinations such as Vancouver, Sydney, and Melbourne.
This will provide travellers with more diverse transfer options and further consolidate Hong Kong’s position as a leading international aviation hub.
The Hanoi-bound service, HX528, will depart Hong Kong daily at 17.40, touching down in Vietnam’s capital at 1850. The return service, HK529, departs Vietnam at 19.50 and arrives in Hong Kong at 22.50.
