Hong Kong Airlines has increased the flight frequency on its route service between Hong Kong and Shanghai Hongqiao, from 14 flights to 18 flights per week.
The newly added flights to Shanghai Hongqiao will operate every Wednesday and Sunday. The new outbound service, HX248, will depart Hong Kong at 13:00 and arrive in Shanghai Hongqiao at 15:45; while the return leg, HX249, will fly from Shanghai at 16:45 and land in Hong Kong at 19:50.
“With the increasing passenger demand between Hong Kong and Shanghai, we further enhanced our flights for this route to meet the fast growing number of passengers,” says commercial director of Hong Kong Airlines Li Dianchun. “We hope the adjustment will provide our passengers with more flexible travel options, and further contribute to the development of economics and tourism of both cities.”
Apart from the Shanghai Hongqiao route, Hong Kong Airlines also operates frequent daily flights from Hong Kong to cities like Beijing, Hangzhou, Taipei, Bangkok, and Okinawa. The airline’s direct flight service to Kumamoto, Japan, will be launched on December 14, further strengthening its route network. www.hongkongairlines.com
