InterContinental Hotels Group has opened Holiday Inn Johor Bahru City Centre, the first under the brand in Johor and the third in Malaysia.

This 335-room new built hotel is part of Komtar JBCC mixed-use development comprising retail and commercial office spaces and will enjoy a direct connection to the Persada Johor International Convention Centre via Persada Link Bridge covered skywalk.

Nestled in the heart of the city centre, a short 30-minute drive away from Senai International Airport, the new Holiday Inn Johor Bahru City Centre provides easy access to some of the best shopping and entertainment options in town.

All 335 rooms have been thoughtfully designed with refreshingly streamlined guest rooms to provide absolute comfort and plenty of features to look forward to. Each room is fitted with a 49-inch flat-screen TV, a standing shower and an electronic safe. In addition to contemporary furnishings, every room includes multiple USB charging ports and outlets, conveniently integrated into the telephone panel and work desk to accommodate all guest electronics.

Other facilities at the new hotel also include a sky pool, steam rooms, and a 24-hour fitness centre.
