Hilton Add Digital Check-in, Room Selection

Hilton Worldwide has rolled out its digital check-in and room selection technology to properties across the world, including its busy business hotels in major Asia-Pacific destinations. Through the Hilton HHonors accounts, guests will be able to check-in and choose their exact room from digital floor plans via smartphones, desktops, laptops or tablets.

“Never before have guests been able to check-in, select their rooms from a digital floor plan, and customise their rooms to be ready for arrival,” says Hilton Worldwide global head of digital Geraldine Calpin. “We are truly revolutionising the industry, and this is just the tip of the iceberg for digital at Hilton Worldwide.”

This latest announcement forms part of a wider digital strategy for Hilton Worldwide as the company aims to enrich the travel experiences of business travellers from around the world. Hilton’s HHonors loyalty-program already offers more than 44 million members the means to earn and redeem points at more than 4,300 hotels in 94 countries and territories. www.hilton.com
