Hainan Airlines to Launch New Direct Service to Tel Aviv

Hainan Airlines will launch a non-stop service between Tel Aviv and Shanghai on September 12, 2017, complementing its four weekly flights on the Tel Aviv-Beijing route.

The new Tel Aviv – Shanghai services will provide businss travellers direct connection between China’s financial hub and Israel’s vibrant cosmopolitan, as well as access on both El Al and Hainan Airlines’ extensive networks in Europe and China respectively.

Following the launch of the Tel Aviv-Beijing service in April 2016, the new service will be Hainan Airlines’ second direct flight from Tel Aviv to China, enabling travellers to fly directly from Tel Aviv to two cities in China, Beijing, and Shanghai, on the airline’s flights.

The Tel Aviv-Shanghai flights will be serviced by a Boeing 787-9 every Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Outbound flight HU407 will depart Shanghai at 01:25 to arrive in Tel Aviv at 08:30; return flight HU408 will take off at 13:55 to land at 05:30 the next day. All times local.

Hainan Airlines has a network of more than 700 domestic and international routes serving Asia, Europe, Australia and North America.
