The design of the hotel, by renowned architects PLD Consultants Hong Kong, brings to life the overall aesthetic concept of “Blowing Wind and Flowing Water”, which pays homage to Fuzhou’s origins as the starting point of the ancient Maritime Silk Road. The region’s historical and cultural influences are seen in the design elements, including its indigenous lacquer art, oil-paper umbrellas, and tea traditions.
