Finnair Flies A350 to Hong Kong

Finnair has begun to use its Airbus A350 XWB on flights between Helsinki and Hong Kong, allowing business travellers the chance to enjoy more comfort when flying between the capital of Finland and the global financial centre.

The Finnair A350 has also been deployed on the airline’s flights to Shanghai, Bangkok and Beijing. The aircraft has a three-class configuration, with 46 flat-bed seats in business class, 43 seats in economy comfort, and 208 seats in economy, and features large panoramic windows, inflight wifi, as well as a brand new entertainment system.

“With the Finnair A350, we want to offer the best experience of Nordic hospitality,” says Maarit Keränen, head of inflight service, Finnair. “Our aim has been to consider every little detail, from the personalized service by our cabin crew to the details of the cabin design. We hope the escalating product and service will offer Hong Kong travellers the most pleasant trip to Europe.”

To better serve the taste buds of Hong Kong passengers, the airline has also created a new menu in partnership with executive chef Jaakko Sorsa of FINDS Restaurant & Bar in Hong Kong, bringing business travellers the best of Nordic flavours. www.finnair.com
