Etihad Opens New Lounge at JFK Airport

Etihad Airways has opened a new First and Business Class Lounge at New York’s JFK International Airport. It is the airline’s second premium lounge in the United States, and is located after the security in Terminal 4.

“The opening of Etihad Airways’ new First and Business Class Lounge at New York’s JFK International Airport reinforces our commitment to investing in the travel experience and providing our guests with the highest levels of comfort, luxury and world-class hospitality at every point in their journey – on the ground and in the air,” says president and CEO James Hogan.

It is the first lounge to feature the airline’s ‘Facets of Abu Dhabi’ branding, with a colour palette that reflects the varying hues of the landscapes of the UAE. Amenities in the JFK lounge include a sculptural showcase bar and lounge with an extensive selection of cocktails, developed in partnership with leading London-based beverage consultancy Fluid Movement.

The lounge, with custom furnishings by Boss, offers guests a range of distinctive seating styles, luxurious restrooms with showers and changing rooms, dedicated male and female prayer rooms, and a library. The new lounge also features a private area exclusively for guests in The Residence, the airline’s apartment in the air, complementing the range of bespoke services offered in flight. www.etihad.com
