Courtyard by Marriott Debuts in Taiwan

Courtyard by Marriott Taipei has opened in the centre of the Nangang district, offering business travellers a convenient and contemporary retreat in the business hub of the city.

A 15-minute drive from Songshan Airport and 45-minute from Taoyuan Airport, Courtyard by Marriott Taipei sits on the 7th to 30th floors above the CityLink shopping mall. Designed in a refreshing and modern style, the 465-room hotel offers scenic views of the city and six room categories with spacious working areas, complimentary wifi, and outlets with dual voltage adaptors.

“Nangang is the new heart of Taipei city and home to a host of technology companies,” says Henry Lee, COO for Marriott International, Greater China. “We are extremely pleased to work with Leofoo Tourism Group, a prestigious organization with great experience in the travel industry, to open our first Courtyard in this emerging hub in Taiwan.”

An ideal venue for corporate and social events, the new hotel boasts a 500sqm ballroom, which can be divided into eight function spaces to suit events of various sizes. The hotel is also in close proximity to the Nangang Exhibition Center, Nangang Technology Park, Nangang Software Park, Nangang Biotechnology Centre, and Taipei 101.

Guests can indulge their palates in the three unique food and beverage outlets in the property. Sunrise is a chic all day dining restaurant with a wide range of international delicacies; while Moonlight provides authentic Cantonese cuisine at its best. The Lounge serves a wide selection of seasonal tea, spirits, wines and cocktails, an ideal venue for corporate guests to unwind after a day of meetings. www.marriott.com
