In addition to its nostalgic turntables, eclectic vinyl collection, and DJ sessions on Friday and Saturday nights, Alibi has launched an innovative new cocktail menu infused with art and culture, offering business travellers a multisensory experience where fine drinks and music intertwine.

The new Alibi cocktail series is a collaborative creation by bar manager Billy Lau and head mixologist Jennifer Ho, featuring 12 unique cocktails that range from light and refreshing to bold and intense.

Cordis Hong Kong's Alibi – Wine Dine Be Social has launched a new concept, drawing inspiration from the charm of vinyl records and its connection to the local community.

Each drink artfully blends creativity, art and cultural influences, and innovative mixology techniques, offering cocktail enthusiasts an unparalleled sensory experience. Inspired by vinyl records, the menu design is equally distinctive – each cocktail description is presented in the form of song lyrics, adding a playful and creative touch.

The first six cocktails on SIDE A are fresh and vibrant, characterised by floral and fruity notes with a light and elegant profile, while SIDE B features six complex and full-bodied creations, highlighting the skill and ingenuity of the mixologists, delivering a multi-layered taste experience for guests.

Highlights from SIDE A include Not Important Lemon Fizz, a cocktail that pays homage to Hong Kong’s local cha chaan teng (local tea café) culture. Billy and Jennifer have carefully selected N.I.P Gin, a locally distilled gin, perfume lemon, watercress honey, and Fenghuang Dancong tea, a floral and aromatic oolong. This innovative combination offers a sophisticated reinterpretation of Hong Kong Lemon Tea captivating its refreshing flavours.

Another must-try is Perfume Poets, which is inspired by the works of renowned French perfumer Jacques Polge. Crafted with Havana Club 3 Years Rum as the base, it combines passionfruit, whey, jasmine, and orange blossom, exuding an elegant fragrance that embodies the spirit of French romance.

For Alibi guests who prefer complex and layered flavours, Soul Blossoming from SIDE B is an excellent choice. It features Two Moons Signature Dry Gin, Hong Kong’s first locally distilled gin brand alongside a 12-herb extract created using vacuum low-temperature cooking that includes apricot kernels, liquorice and dried tangerine peel, combining it with vermouth blend and grapes to offer the purest and most delightful taste of nature.

Additionally, On Cloud Candy revolves around cocoa, from the husk to the nibs, seamlessly blending Amaro and Johnnie Walker Black Label to create a rich and nuanced flavour. The fluffy cotton candy cloud on top not only enhances the cocktail’s unique taste but also serves as an eye-catching, Instagram-worthy highlight, ensuring a feast for both the eyes and the palate.
