Copper Bistro Brings a New French Dining Concept to Shanghai

Copper Bistro, a new French eatery, has opened at Le Royal Meridien Shanghai, giving business travellers a great new wining and dining destination for after-hours fun.

In the heart of Shanghai, Copper Bistro is a modern French neighborhood bistro featuring an European-style outdoor dining area. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the new eatery offers a carefully crafted drinking and dining experience that draws on the gastronomic heritage of Europe.

The menu’s focus is on simple, well-executed French favourites like croque monsieur, French onion soup, crispy calamari, freshly shucked oysters and beef tartare. Rich desserts like profiteroles, eclairs and fig tarts make for a sweet afternoon treat or decadent late-night treat,

Complementing the food is a drinks list that offers something for everyone. House-brewed beers are the star, with a Pilsner, Witbier, IPA and Imperial Stout brewed onsite in tanks that guests can see as they sip their brew. For brews of another type, Copper also serves Illy coffee that is an ideal pick-me-up to get you through a busy afternoon.
