Cathay Pacific to expand its North American network with a new route to Dallas Fort Worth
Cathay Pacific will launch non-stop flights between Hong Kong and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) for the very first time.
The new service, scheduled to commence on 24 April 2025, marks Cathay Pacific’s sixth passenger destination in the United States and eighth in North America, further reinforcing the airline’s presence on the continent while bolstering the global connectivity of its home hub, Hong Kong.
Deepening the airline’s North American presence and strengthening Hong Kong’s transpacific connectivity, the new route to the US will link Cathay passengers with the expensive network of fellow oneworld carrier American Airlines, which has a hub at Dallas-Fort Worth.
Currently, Cathay Pacific operates 88 return passenger flights per week to destinations in North America, including Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Toronto and Vancouver. To complement its existing network in North America, the airline will operate four return flights per week between Hong Kong and DFW using its modern Airbus A350-1000 aircraft.
Service CX898 will depart Hong Kong Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 1605, arriving in the US at 1755. The return service, CX897 departs Dallas-Fort Worth on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 23.55 and arrives at 0505 + 2.
