Blacklane to Offer Seamless Airport Experience

Blacklane will make business travel even easier after its purchase of global airport concierge booking service Solve.

The company offers everything from curbside and air-side passenger meet and greet fast-track security, and expedited customs and immigration through to connecting flight assistance and lounge access, meaning Blacklane will be able to tie its luxury transfer services to a complete airport experience.

“Frequent travellers’ most valuable asset is time, and airport procedures waste a lot of it,” says Blacklane co-founder and CEO Jens Wohltorf. “Concierge services save travellers time before and after flights while making the most out of the time spent in airports. This is a natural extension of Blacklane’s personal service and high-quality rides as it connects the dots between a comfortable flight and a comfortable ride.”

The deal makes door-to-door trips for business travellers even smoother, with professional driver services in 250 cities in 50 countries, and airport concierge services at more than 500 airports.

“Airport concierge services have lacked a trusted name, a smart booking process, and global scalability,” says Solve CEO and founder Blaine Vess. “Blacklane has proven its ability to solve these issues. This acquisition is good news for travellers, local service providers, and the future of our Solve platform.”

Travelers will be able to book Blacklane’s airport services, with or without airport transfers, in December.
