The Shilla Duty-Free, one of the world’s leading travel retail companies, has arrived at Hong Kong International Airport with the opening of Beauty & You.
Following a six-month soft-opening period, the full Beauty & You concept store has now officially opened in the main East Hall.
Combining brands and product categories, new ‘engagement zones’ are accessible throughout the shop, designed to enhance your shopping experience; visit Elements for gentlemen-specific products; New Generation showcases the best of Korean and Japanese brands, and a dedicated Curated Zone will feature different themed selections each month.
Together with the stores’ professional beauty and fashion advisors, personalised recommendations are offered to each travel-savvy shopper. Alternatively, if you’re running late and your shopping spree is cut short, Shilla’s New Generation Beauty Selfie makeup app allows you to virtually try on looks from brands like Anna Sui, Etude House, Ladurée, NARS, and Urban Decay, speeding up the makeover process and skipping straight to the checkout.
Flight delayed? Keep yourself busy with the in-store VR Shilla Beauty Journey experience, or try your luck at the Digital Beauty Touch & Win game, a digital claw machine with beauty and skincare prizes.
To celebrate the store’s unveiling; other in-store activities will be available during this opening period such as Atelier Cologne’s engraving service, and M.A.C.’s interactive selfie machine.
Duty-free shoppers will find over 200 beauty and fashion brands in the airport’s new addition; from Clarins and Dior, to Oakley and Tiffany & Co. As for exclusive new products, the Shilla Duty-Free has also introduced over 60 premium brands to HKIA, including David Beckham’s global grooming brand HOUSE 99; the best of Asian brands like The History of Whoo, and THREE; as well as fashion accessory brands like Alexander McQueen and Didier Dubot.
