Exciting New Restaurant for Le Royal Méridien Shanghai

Le Royal Méridien Shanghai now offers diners the opportunity of a traditional “Asador” experience in the heart of Shanghai with the arrival of Asador Spanish Social Grill.

Specializing in authentic grill cooking, the newly opened restaurant is set amid rustic but modern décor where all guests are invited to enjoy authentic products from the northern Spanish territories and to experience its heritage, traditions and cooking techniques.

Located on the lobby level, Asador Spanish Social Grill brings a natural Spanish feel to Shanghai with tapas dishes as well as a butchers shop, located within the restaurant, that offers different cuts of Black Angus and Wagyu M5 beef. The restaurant’s dry-aged beef program ages beef from 28 to 90 days, ensuring a captivating grill cuisine experience.

The Semi-Buffet Lunch is an ideal way for guests to enjoy food no matter whether for a formal business meal or a relaxing break. Available from Monday to Friday, it combines unlimited tapas and desserts with a choice of Asador’s signature dishes as the main course. The tempting starters include chorizo and cheese-stuffed piquillo peppers; “Pulpo Gallego” red wine-braised octopus; grilled shrimps, and more. Main courses include New York striploin, Iberico pork chops and grilled seabass. Menu items are rotated daily.

The restaurant bar also has its own area where guests can enjoy pre-dinner aperitifs and appetizers.
