Alila Hotels and Resorts is set to launching five new properties in Asia this year, with the first, Alila Bangsar, positioned in Malaysia’s dynamic capital.
Alila Bangsar will open in one of Kuala Lumpur’s most stylish inner-city districts this month. A modern urban resort, Alila Bangsar offers business travellers the convenience of a hotel with direct links to the LRT station and walking distance from the main railway hub, with the setting of a luxury hideaway.

Guests can choose from 143 modern and elegantly-designed rooms, each of which offers uninterrupted views of the Kuala Lumpur skyline. The hotel also offers a wide array of dining options, ranging from fresh Asian cuisine to fine-dining. The hotel boasts a stunning rooftop bar, where guests can enjoy panoramic views of the city, while the hotel’s three-story atrium provides the ideal setting for business meetings and corporate entertaining.
Alila will also open its second property in Jakarta in July. Alila SCBD will be located at the heart of the city’s financial district and offers business travellers easy access to leading corporate offices, world-class shopping, and entertainment facilities. Guests can choose from one of the 227 contemporary rooms and suites, including the Executive Suites set on the top floor and offering access to an exclusive lounge.

The hotel will also be home to the Southeast Asian outposts of the Hakkasan, Sake no Hana, and the OMNIA luxury lifestyle brands. The two new restaurants and a nightclub, managed by Hakkasan Group, will ensure the hotel is the ultimate destination for corporate dining and entertainment in the city. Along with Hakkasan Group, guests can have breakfast at Vong Kitchen or a late-night bite at the 24-hour Le Burger, both by Michelin-starred chef Jean-George.
Alila is also preparing to unveil hotels in Wuzhen, China, in September; Sri Lanka in October; and a private island eco-resort in Cambodia in November.
