Air Canada to Launch Seoul Direct

Air Canada plans to launch daily direct flights between Toronto’s Pearson International Airport and Seoul’s Incheon International Airport in June 2016.

“The introduction of non-stop flights between our main Toronto hub and Seoul further strengthens Air Canada’s presence in the growing Asian market,” says president for passenger airlines at Air Canada Benjamin Smith. “This new route will provide some of the fastest travel times for customers travelling to and from South Korea and Eastern Canada, the Northeastern United State, and South America via our main hub in Toronto. Together with our Vancouver-Seoul service, Air Canada will operate the most flights of any airline between Canada and South Korea, with up to 14 flights per week.”

Toronto-Seoul flights will be operated with Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft, which offers 20 international business class flat bed seats, 21 premium economy recliner seats, and 210 economy class seats.

In Seoul, Air Canada offers convenient connections and reciprocal frequent flyer reward benefits with its Star Alliance partner, Asiana Airlines, for customers travelling to and from points throughout Asia, including Japan, Thailand, and Vietnam. www.aircanada.com
