Air Astana has introduced a new collection of economy class travel kits created in collaboration with Kazakh artists.
The Kazakhstan national carrier’s new kits blend comfort, cultural identity and environmental consciousness.
The collection includes 14 unique designs, each reflecting Kazakhstan’s cultural heritage and the artists’ individual perspectives inspired by nature, traditions, folklore and childhood memories. These works of art become part of the everyday travel experience of thousands of passengers, sharing Kazakhstan’s culture with the world.
The new travel kits are presented in two formats: horizontal designs for passengers departing from Kazakhstan and vertical ones for those arriving in the country. Passengers travelling round-trip can collect multiple designs and enjoy the diversity of artistic expression.
Particular attention has been paid to sustainability. The fabric of each kit is made from recycled RPET material, while the contents include a bamboo toothbrush, a kraft-paper pen, an eye mask and socks made from recycled fibres. On outbound flights from Kazakhstan, an inflatable neck pillow is also included.
The new travel kits will be available on international flights lasting over three hours from November 2025.
This initiative aims to support contemporary Kazakhstan art while advancing sustainability principles. The collection reflects Air Astana’s commitment to ESG values and to continuously enhancing the travel experience for its passengers.
