Air Astana Wins Five Star Award

Air Astana has received a prestigious Five Star Major Airline award from the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX).

The non-profit trade body is dedicated to improving the entire airline passenger experience, and this is the third time that Air Astana has received APEX’s Five Star award.

APEX, in a partnership with TripIt from Concur, the world’s highest-rated travel-organizing app, gathered anonymous passenger feedback and insights for the awards process. Using a five-star scale, nearly one million flights were rated by passengers across more than 600 airlines from around the world. Passengers were also given the opportunity to provide anonymous ratings in five subcategories: seat comfort, cabin service, food and beverage, entertainment, and Wi-Fi.

“We are honored to receive this prestigious award and be amongst major international airlines awarded Five Stars, the highest-rated tier,” says Ms. Margaret Phelan, Vice-President Inflight Services, Air Astana. “Air Astana is continuously upgrading its onboard passenger experience to provide the very highest quality of service.”
