Aerotel Opens at Heathrow’s Terminal 3

Aerotel London Heathrow, the airport’s only in-terminal hotel, has opened offering business travellers convenience, flexibility and comfort at one of Europe’s busiest airports.

Business travellers will be familiar with the six award-winning airport lounges at London Heathrow operated by Plaza Premium Group. The company has now launched its innovative Aerotel airport hotel brand at Terminal 3, offering the airport’s only in-terminal hotel experience.

Spread across two floors, the new hotel offers 82 smartly-designed guest rooms, with configurations to suit solo travellers and groups. Open 24/7 and offering flexible packages and round-the-clock check-in and check-out, Aerotel London Heathrow is perfectly suited to travellers with early or late departures, or who are transiting the busy airport and want to avoid having to travel into the city.

Aerotel airport transit hotels (airside) and Aerotel airport hotels (landside) are dedicated to providing business travellers with comfortable accommodation and convenient booking hours to suit their schedules. Designed by travellers for travellers, Aerotel guestrooms feature quality bedding, pillow options, powerful shower facilities and soothing lighting to facilitate good sleep and power naps. Celebrating British tea culture, guests at the new Heathrow hotel will also find “sleep tea” in guestrooms, offering an innovative take on total relaxation during a busy journey.

Combining contemporary guest rooms with attentive services, Aerotel London Heathrow is well-equipped for travellers to refresh, relax and rest at the airport. The new property, which is a five minute walk from the neatest central bus station, six minutes from the Heathrow Express, and 10 minutes from Terminals 2, 4 and 5, also features The Lounge, an all-day dining hub serving a variety of hot and cold food and drinks including British’s most popular national dish Chicken Tikka Masala and All-Day Full English Breakfast, and the Library Lounge, a creative social space where guests can break up their journey in comfort. Other amenities include fast wifi, local and international newspapers and magazines, and satellite TVs.

“We are glad to see the opening of Aerotel London Heathrow serving early arrival travellers to rejuvenate, in addition to offering a space for guests staying far away from city and taking early departure to stay the night before,” says Song Hoi-see, founder and CEO of Plaza Premium Group. “Unlike conventional hotels charging daily rates, we tailor room rates based on blocks of hours to create convenience, comfort and value right at the terminal.”

Aerotel’s expanding network covers major international airports, including Abu Dhabi, Beijing, Cebu, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, London, Muscat, Rio de Janeiro and Singapore. Aerotel London Heathrow offers 6-hour, 9-hour, 12-hour and overnight packages at a starting price of GBP50 (US$64) including VAT.
