A Taste of Royal Thai in the Air

Hong Kong Airlines has partnered with Thai restaurant group Blue Elephant to present Royal Thai cuisine to its business class passengers between Bangkok and Hong Kong. The new menu features a selection of 16 classic Thai dishes using traditional Thai techniques, and includes Panaeng curry with seabass, Massaman beef, and green curry with chicken.

“Hong Kong Airlines always strives to enhance the variety and quality of dishes served onboard,” says director of Hong Kong Airlines service delivery Stanley Kan. “By working with different renowned restaurants around the world, we hope to deliver the best in-flight dining experience possible to our passengers. This time we are delighted to join hands with Blue Elephant, presenting a variety of classic Thai cuisine and bringing exquisite dining experiences at its best to the air.”

Blue Elephant Restaurant, which has more than ten branches throughout Europe, the Middle East and Asia, is widely recognised as an authority on authentic Royal Thai cuisine. The Blue Elephant restaurant has welcomed presidents and VIPs from around the world.

“We are honoured to be featured in Hong Kong Airlines’ in-flight dining menu. Thai cuisine is one of the most popular types of food in the world; thus, we are confident that passengers will appreciate having the delicious menu options we have prepared for their in-flight meals,” says Blue Elephant master chef Nooror Somany. “We are well experienced in creating menus for airline passengers, and it’s always a pleasure to present dishes that taste as good in the air as they do in our restaurants on land.
