A Meliá Hotel Opens in Yangon

Meliá Hotels International has expanded its portfolio of hotels to Myanmar with the opening of Meliá Yangon, offering business travellers a luxurious retreat in the country’s main centre for trade.

Located on Kaba Aye Pagoda Road, only 15 minutes drive to the city centre as well as to Yangon International Airport, Meliá Yangon provides 430 guest rooms starting from 48sqm, with stunning views of Inya Lake. Guests on The Level, Meliá’s signature executive floor, can enjoy privileges such as exclusive access to The Level Lounge, on the top floor with 360 degrees views of the city.

The new hotel boasts three restaurants, more than 2,000sqm of convention space, an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre, and a soon-to-open 1,800sqm spa, which will offer hydro-massages and Vichy showers. www.melia.com
