An Autograph Collection Hotel by YTL Hotels has debuted in Kuala Lumpur, with the opening of The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur, offering business travellers urban and luxurious accommodation in the Malaysian capital.

The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur includes the iconic Hotel Majestic building, documented as a national heritage site under the Antiquities Act, and is set on 3.2 acres on Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin, opposite the old Moorish style railway station.

The luxurious new hotel features 300 luxurious rooms and suites. The Majestic Wing, the fully restored original five-storey Majestic Hotel, houses the Suites with Butler Service, The Colonial Cafe, The Bar, and The Tea Lounge. The 15-storey Tower Wing complementing the art deco style houses Deluxe Rooms and Suites, 13 meeting rooms, a pillar-less ballroom that can seat 1,200 people, a gymnasium, and a swimming pool.

The brand’s second Autograph Collection Hotel is Hotel Stripes Kuala Lumpur, which will make its debut in February 2017. Drawing inspiration from the history of its local neighbourhood, the hotel is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur on historical Jalan Kamunting.

The property connects guests to the city’s business hub, with some of the city’s greatest local food, and features 184 bespoke guest rooms and suites, with a unique blend of contemporary design and urban chic, reflecting the history and character of the neighbourhood. The hotel also includes an all-day dining restaurant, The Snug, and creative spaces for business and social events.

YTL Hotels has enjoyed almost two decades of long-term relationship with Marriott International since 1995, through the ownership management and future development of eight properties, including Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel and Brisbane Marriott Hotel.
