These Smartwatch Faces Let You Travel the World

Montblanc captures some of the world’s most iconic cityscapes with a collection of new faces for its Montblanc Summit smartwatch. The new collection ranges from London to Berlin, and Milan to New York.

Conceived as a smartwatch for those who live in a fast-paced world and need to access all kinds of information digitally while they are on the move, these new faces of Montblanc Summit evoke the interconnected life of those living in major cities and those who travel between these metropolises.

The animated watch faces encapsulate the most iconic architecture and reflect the current weather as part of the display. The Maison’s first smartwatch is the ideal travel companion for users to undertake their journey quicker and smarter, so they can focus on what really matters, being ahead. Thus the airport flip board is the inspiration for the hour display at 6 o’clock, a familiar point of reference for the global traveller.

These new city-inspired watch faces are the latest evolution of Montblanc Summit, the Maison’s first smartwatch launched in 2017 to bridge the worlds of fine watchmaking and cutting-edge wearable technology. With a classic and vintage look creating a digital interpretation of fine watchmaking, this luxury smartwatch provides the perfect alchemy between the design codes of traditional fine timekeeping, premium materials and state-of-the-art technology including Android WearTM 2.0, Google’s latest operating system for smartwatches, and the Qualcomm SnapdragonTM Wear 2100 processor— one of the most advanced and powerful wearables processors in the market for smartwatches. Montblanc Summit is compatible with both iPhone and Android devices.

The first city in the series is London, available exclusively from Harrods, Montblanc Boutique, 2nd Floor, The Great Writing Room from 6th October 2017 until the end of the month, before being available to all Summit users via the Play Store on Montblanc Summit shortly after. Additional cities, including Milan, Berlin, and New York, to start with, will be released later in October 2017.
