The Silks Club, Kaohsiung Opens in Taiwan

Silks Club Hotel has opened a new property in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, offering travellers convenient accommodation in the heart of the country’s southern port.

Located in the vibrant Qianzhen neighbourhood, close to the Kaohsiung Harbour, the Kaohsiung Exhibition Centre, and the Kaohsiung Maritime Cultural and Pop Music Centre, the new Silks Club hotel offers 147 elegantly-appointed and design-savvy executive suites, starting in size from 53sqm and featuring floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the cityscape. Guests staying on the 17th floor or above will enjoy views of the city’s harbour.

Facing the port and ocean, guest rooms at Silks Club Kaohsiung include premium Italian handmade Falomo mattresses, while the suites feature Sony Bravia TVs with Bose sound system, and EU organic certified bath and shower accessories. The hotel’s apartment vibe ensures a residential feel that’s rarely encountered at hotels in bustling Taiwan.

Dining options at the hotel include the Ukai Tei Kaohsiung, the Ukai Western Grill and Ukai Teppanyaki restaurants, as well as the first Dassai Bar outside Japan.
