The Luxury Collection Makes Singapore Debut

Part of Marriott International, The Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts will debut the brand’s first hotel in Singapore, The Duxton Club, in early 2017, offering business travellers in the region a contemporary luxury experience.

The Duxton Club, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Singapore will showcase the island’s rich history with redesigns from Anouska Hempel and Jacques Garcia of traditional shophouses, which is a prevalent building in Singapore’s architectural heritage, in the Tanjong Pagar conservation district.

The Duxton Club will reside in two pre-war colonial shophouse buildings within walking distance of one another: The Duxton House on Duxton Road, and The Duxton Terrace on Murray Street. Situated in the Duxton area, the two buildings are adjacent to the emerging central business district of Tanjong Pagar.

The Duxton House features 50 guestrooms in eight adjoining three-storey buildings, and will include a destination restaurant, a signature bar, and a private cigar room.

The Duxton Terrace will house five captivating food and beverage venues, including a signature bar and lobby bar, a poolside bar, and an exclusive member’s club. http://www.marriott.com/
