The Croft House Town Kitchen & Bar Launches in Brisbane

The Croft House Town Kitchen & Bar has launched in the Brisbane CBD on the corner of Albert and Charlotte Streets, offering urbanites and travellers in the city a unique place to tune out with authentic Australian food and a beer or delicious wine.

The Croft House is a place where cafe-styled food is a mix of grab-to-go, order from the counter and also à la carte by day; becoming a bar-centric bistro-style table service, shared plates and drinks venue by night.  All day dining come together in a refined cafe-bistro look and feel, bringing with it a new breed of dining experience to Brisbane.

Serving locally sourced seasonal produce with a modern Australian a la carte menu, The Croft House is open for all day dining – breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days a week until late.  Capturing the laid back Australian lifestyle, head chef Richard Mellor’s menu showcases a simplistic approach to flavours and dishes through regionally sourced produce.

With coffee beans from Hendra based independent coffee supplier, Wolff Coffee Roasters, city workers and locals can order their freshly made barista coffee via the coffee window on their way to work or enjoy within the restaurant alongside breakfast, brunch, and lunch.

“The Croft House is a comfortable space where you can get really fresh food, high quality beverages including tasty craft beer and an extensive selection of Australian and international wines and cocktails.  We pride ourselves on being able to support growers, farmers and producers and sharing this with our customers,” says venue manager Jessica Lyon.

Signature dishes include the TCH breakfast – quattro stelle smokehouse streaky bacon, grilled tomato, field mushrooms, fried eggs, and organic sourdough.  For lunch, try the slow beef brisket on a soft milk bun with aged cheddar, spicy sauce and fries.  A selection of fresh house made salads and gourmet sandwiches is ideal for diners looking for a fast and healthy dining experience.

There is a heavy focus on craft beer with Newstead Brewing, James Squire and Two Birds all available, alongside ciders and a few international favourites.  The wine list has been curated by venue manager Jessica Lyon who has skillfully captured a mix of well-known local and international wines and a few different options for more adventurous winers and diners. www.thecrofthouse.com.au
