Thai Airways to Launch Bangkok-Vienna Flights

Thai Airways will launch flights to Vienna, Austria on November 16, 2017, providing business travellers with more flight options connecting the Thai capital and Central Europe.

The Bangkok-Vienna flights will be operated with a Boeing 777-300ER, configured with 42 seats in Royal Silk Class and 306 seats in Economy Class. The route will operate four times weekly on Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Currently, Thai Airways flies to 12 destinations in 10 countries in Europe, including Copenhagen, Oslo, Brussels, Paris, Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, Stockholm, London, Rome, Milan, and Moscow, equating to more than 80 flights per week.

“Vienna’s appeal as a cosmopolitan city of music and culture, its globally networked economy and the multiple times it was named the most liveable city in the world are just a few of the reasons for the great popularity of the Austrian capital – not only among the more than six million tourists, who visit the city each year but also among international business people,” says Norbert Kettner, managing director, Vienna Tourist Board.
