Swire Opens Republic in Hong Kong

Swire Restaurants has opened REPUBLIC, a sub-brand of PUBLIC, the expansive international restaurant and deli located at One Island East, Quarry Bay, ensuring busy business travellers always have great dining options close to the city’s major commercial precincts.

Located in Devon House, Taikoo Place, the 110-seated self-serviced eatery serves a wide range of culinary options Monday to Friday from 7am to 8pm, including healthy salads and breakfast bowls, freshly baked pastries and made-to-order food items highlighting Asian delicacies. Under the direction of executive chef, David Parkin, REPUBLIC offers a comfortable balance between quality meals and affordable prices.

Diners can pick up their daily breakfast from various food stations offering local favourites as well as dishes inspired by Japanese, Vietnamese, Indian and Italian options. Such breakfast items include classic croissants and a selection of Danish pastries, Asian-style egg dishes like Tamagoyaki Japanese Omelette, nutritious Breakfast Buddha Bowls and Breakfast Bowls featuring REPUBLIC’s home-made yoghurt with fresh fruits and hot soup noodles like Viet Pho.

For office workers looking for a quick bite for lunch outside the workspace or a grab-and-go option in between meetings, the vast array of choices available will cover their daily cravings. Highlights from the lunch menu include lighter options such as salad bowls and Viet Banh-Mi topped with caramel pork neck or otherwise, heartier dishes with authentic Asian flavours from the hot section including Thai Red Curry with slow-cooked Duck Leg and Sichuan style Dan Dan noodles. Vegetarian options like Spaghetti with Kale Pesto Cream Sauce, Garlic and Parmesan are also available.

Finally, guests can also unwind after the long working day at REPUBLIC’s Happy Hour daily from 6pm to 8pm. A selection of wine and beers will be available at great prices, along with delicious bar snacks. www.swireproperties.com
