Sofitel Debuts in Foshan, China

Sofitel Foshan has opened in Guangdong province as the brand’s first property in the city and the 23rd property in the Greater China network, providing a range of luxury accommodation options in the heart of the Chinese city.

Located in Shunde district, the 62-storey Sofitel Foshan is the tallest hotel in the city. Boasting 325 modern guestrooms with four themes including modern, post-modern, neo-Chinese, and Classic French, the hotel features offers panoramic views of the city skyline.

For meetings and events, the hotel features a state-of-the-art 3,000sqm of function spaces, including a Napoleon III’s Grand Salon Apartment-inspired grand ballroom, six meeting rooms, and an outdoor terrace.

Dining outlets include an all-day dining restaurant Kwee Zeen and an Italian restaurant, Allegria, which offers authentic Mediterranean food. The city’s first French executive chef Mikael Robin oversees the entire culinary operations of Sofitel Foshan, ensuring the excellence of its epicurean offerings from the wine tastings at the Noble Bar, Le Bar – Lobby Lounge, and the city’s first Sky Bar.
