Singapore Airlines Adds Stockholm to its Route Network

Singapore Airlines has added flights between Singapore and Stockholm via Moscow, adding its second Scandinavian city to its route network.

The new Singapore-Stockholm service, SQ362, operates five times weekly from Singapore Changi Airport to the Swedish capital, via Moscow, offering northern Europe-bound business travellers another flight option connecting the two continents.

This new service, operated with an Airbus A350-900, will complement the airline’s existing flights to Copenhagen, Denmark, boosting connectivity between Southeast Asia and northern Europe, in addition to meeting the increasing demand for travel between southwest Pacific and northern Europe.

Flights depart Singapore at 00:20 every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, to arrive in Moscow at 06:00, leaving Moscow at 07:15 to arrive in Stockholm at 08:25. Return legs take off the same days at 10:25 to arrive in Moscow at 13:30 and returning from Moscow at 15:00 to land in Singapore at 06:15 the next day. All times local.

With advanced technology and superior operating efficiency, the A350-900 offers customers improved travelling experience with higher ceilings, larger windows, an extra-wide body, and lighting designed to reduce jetlag. The aircraft is fitted with 253 seats, 42 of which are in Business Class, 24 in Premium Economy Class, and 187 in Economy Class.

The A350 will form a key part of the Airline’s fleet in the years ahead and has enabled the introduction of new services, such as non-stop flights between Singapore and San Francisco, helping to boost connectivity to and through the city-state.

The new Singapore Airlines services are also part of the joint venture agreement between Singapore Airlines and Star Alliance partner Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) that took effect in 2013, covering flights between Scandinavia and Singapore. SAS has also commenced codeshare on the new services.
