Rech Restaurant Debuts at InterContinental Hong Kong

Alain Ducasse Entreprise and InterContinental Hong Kong have recently debuted Rech by Alain Ducasse within the renovated former Spoon restaurant space, bringing the finest French cuisine to the city’s discerning foodies.

Rech by Alain Ducasse at InterContinental Hong Kong is the first international outpost of Paris’ most famous seafood restaurant, Rech, which was founded in 1925 by Adrien Rech and reborn by acclaimed chef Alain Ducasse in 2007.

At the helm of chef Stéphane Gortina, who has worked with chef Ducasse for over 11 years, Rech’s menu showcases the best fish, shellfish, and oysters from France, with chef Ducasse’s personal interpretation and contemporary flavours.

The restaurant offers an array of authentic French dishes, from the freshest oysters from France and the signature “pan-seared line-caught sole, new potatoes”, to aged Camembert and “XL éclair, chocolate or vanilla” dessert, all of which provide guests with an exceptional modern culinary experience.

The Jégo Brothers fish trade, established over 20 years ago in Etel, the ancient tuna port in the Morbihan, Brittany, provides Rech with extra fresh produce solely using fishing techniques respectful of the environment.

Rech also serves a “Best of Rech” French Sunday Lunch menu featuring a selection of the restaurant’s signature dishes, including oysters from France, a trio of starters, cookpot of tiny spelt with squid and sesame seafood, wild cod aïoli, duck with mango, and “Paris Parisien” pastries, making for an ideal weekend meal.
