Le Meridien to Open in Seoul

Le Meridien Seoul will open this September as the brand’s first property in Korea, offering business travellers luxurious accommodation with easy access to the city’s commercial district.

Located on Bongeunsa-ro, Le Meridien Seoul is a 60-minute drive from Incheon International Airport, and allows for easy access to the COEX Convention and Exhibition Centre, as well as the office district in Samsung-dong.

A modern design approach has been taken by David Collins Studio, inspired by the fusion of mid-century sophistication with vibrant European charm, creating an ambiance that leads to artful discovery. The hotel has a structural concept of columns and beams that allow for large open-floor spaces, further characterised by clean simplicity that is integrated with nature.

The new Le Meridien Seoul will feature 336 chic rooms, including 109 club rooms and 29 suites with access to the Club Lounge, offering refreshments throughout the day and exclusive spaces for socialising and working. The prestigious Presidential Suite is bound to become the most stunning in the city with a mix of antique and modern furniture.

The hotel’s fitness facilities and pool area will offer a tranquil escape from the hectic pace of the city, providing a space for relaxation. There will be three distinct restaurants and bars, including Elements, a restaurant featuring Korean, Japanese, Chinese and halal specialties; Chef’s Palette, an intriguing all-day-dining restaurant featuring a winter garden and outdoor terrace; and Latitude 37.3, which will be a social hotspot as it transforms into a stylish cocktail bar by night.
