Hainan Airlines has partnered with Kaligo Travel Solutions to provide members of the airline’s loyalty programme, Fortune Wings Club with an online car rental redemption platform.

The new partnership between airline and travel company enables 18 million customers of Hainan Airline‘s Fortune Wings Club to redeem their Fortune Wings Club points for car rentals in over 200 countries around the world.

The online platform, established by Kaligo Travel Solutions, allows the loyalty programme’s members to redeem points for car rentals instantly. This the first mainland China programme to offer non-air travel redemption leveraging inventory from major car rental brands to local specialists.

Fortune Wings Club members enjoy the flexibility to book cars and hotels entirely with points or with the Points + Cash option. When choosing Points + Cash an interactive slider allows members to explore the points and cash combinations that can be used to book.

Hainan Airlines is headquartered in Haikou, on the Chinese island of Hainan and is the fourth-largest airline in terms of fleet size in the People’s Republic of China, and tenth-largest airline in Asia in terms of passengers carried. It operates scheduled domestic and international services on 500 routes from Hainan and nine locations on the mainland, as well as charter services. Its main base is Haikou Meilan International Airport, with hubs at Beijing Capital International Airport and Xi’an Xianyang International Airport and several focus cities. Hainan Airlines is a Skytrax 5-star airline.
