Jerry Maguire Opens in Hong Kong

Business travellers who have a sweet tooth should check out the newly opened cocktail and dessert bar, Jerry Maguire, located on Lan Fong Road in Causeway bay, a perfect spot from which to unwind after a hectic day of work.

Inspired by the late night New York lofts, with a hint of English tea houses crossed with Japanese zen and outdoor garden elements, the 68-seat Jerry Maguire is divided into three sections: dessert bar, sweet corner and back yard. Helmed by Paul Kwok, who worked for some of the upscale bars and nightclubs in Hong Kong, such as Play, Volar and The Tonno, the modern interactive dining venue offers a mesmerising list of innovative handcrafted cocktails and a decadent array of desserts.

Taking cue from the fantasy novel by Lewis Carroll, Alice the Wonderland is the signature cocktail of Jerry Maguire. It is shaken up with Havana Club 3yrs rum, Midori liqueur, elderflower syrup, mint leaf and pineapple juice, and topped with a “JM” mushroom, spun sugar and golden leaf. Other enticing concoctions include Before Sunset, which features Earl Grey infused gin, Cointreau, Earl Grey tea, and apple juice scent of Jerry Maguire homemade osmanthus syrup; and You Complete Me, with Botanist gin, cherry blossom liqueur, coconut water and cherry blossom raindrop cake.

When it comes to desserts, you shouldn’t miss the Jerry Maguire Cheesecake Crunch, which is made of Hazelnut Baileys cheesecakes with crunch biscuits and topped with dark baileys chocolate frozen foam. To make the experience even more indulgent, you can pair it with Choco Late (Chocolate lava pudding with Grand Marnier Cordon vanilla gel, nutella soil and brandy snap).

There is also a selection of tapas on offer, including stuffed chicken wings with apricot glaze; ham platter with stuffed olives and cornichons; Jerry Maguire crispy pollock with homemade grainy mustard and tomato salsa; and cucumber and carrot sticks with mustard and cheese dip.

Jerry Maguire is open Monday to Friday from 12pm to 2am, Saturday from 1pm to 2am, and Sunday from 12pm to 6pm. It is also available to be booked for private parties and business events. www.jerrymaguire.hk
