JAL and S7 Airlines to Expand Codeshare Cooperation

Japan Airlines and Russia’s S7 Airlines, both members of the oneworld alliance, will further expand their codeshare cooperation, offering business travellers between Asia and the nations of the CIS greater affordability and connectivity.

The new Japan Airlines S7 codeshare deal will add four additional Russian domestic destinations to Japan Airline’s network, starting February 16, 2017. The new codeshare agreement will offer north-bound business travellers flexible and convenient flight options flying across S7’s extensive domestic and regional network.

Subject to government approval, JAL’s codeshare routes in Russia will be increased from the current 15 to 19, with the additional Moscow (Domodedovo)-Kaliningrad, Moscow-Omsk, Moscow-Tyumen, and Moscow-Novosibirsk routes, operated by S7.

Japan Airlines will continue to enhance its network in Russia to provide business and leisure travellers with more convenience and enjoyable experiences.

S7 Airlines is a Siberian airline headquartered in Ob, Novosibirsk Oblast, in Russia, and is Russia’s largest domestic airline. It currently flies to 150 destinations, including Hong Kong, Beijing Shanghai, Tokyo and Seoul.
