InterContinental Perth City Centre to Open in October

InterContinental is poised to open its 16-storey InterContinental Perth City Centre, in the heart of the Western Australian capital, in October.

The new InterContinental hotel will offer 240 guestrooms, studios and suites, as well as a sophisticated Club InterContinental, a collection of new dining and bar options, and a meeting suite concept.

Designed by Woods Bagot with interiors conceived by Chada, the InterContinental Perth City Centre will welcome guests with layers of stylish design details, with sandstone walled lobby spaces, sweeping sculptural statements, dramatic lighting, glass-encased stairwells, and elegant furnishings.

Rooms take on a luxurious residential feel, while guests can select from classic, city view, or executive studios and suites, each of which offers an elegant light-filled space, a generously stocked minibar featuring local wines and boutique brews, smart TVs, complimentary wifi, and round the clock room service.

Guests staying in Club InterContinental rooms will enjoy the exclusive benefit of the Club InterContinental Lounge, a quiet sanctuary on the hotel’s top floor. Club guests can enjoy a la carte breakfast, all-day refreshments, and evening canapés and drinks with stunning city views. An executive meeting room is also available for complimentary use.

The new hotel’s restaurant and bar offerings will include the aptly named Heno & Rey (translating to Hay & King), which will serve fresh local seafood at the raw bar and cocktails created by a specially recruited mixologist. Perched on level one, The Loft Lounge will offer coffee and freshly baked pastries from early morning; a refined high tea service by afternoon, and a renowned ‘InterContinental Worldly Classic’ cocktail menu throughout the day.
