Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu Opens in Nepal

Marriott has opened its first property in Nepal, Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu, expanding the brand’s footprint in South Asia, while offering more accommodation options in the country’s commercial hub.

The new hotel is located in Thamel at the heart of the capital’s central business area, and is only five kilometres from the airport. The property’s 115 smart and thoughtfully-appointed rooms feature plush bedding, flatscreen TVs, and spacious work areas.

Offering 377sqm of function spaces within two event rooms, the hotel’s Business Centre comprises meeting rooms that are equipped with the latest audiovisual facilities, while all public areas and guestrooms have high-speed wifi.

Dining options include Kava, an all-day dining restaurant, serves local, Indian and international cuisine, while The Bar and lobby lounge at Kava is a lively spot offering freshly brewed coffee and an array of cocktails in the evening.
