Cathay Pacific to Add Tel Aviv to Its Global Network

Hong Kong flag carrier Cathay Pacific Airways will launch a new four-times weekly service between Hong Kong and Tel Aviv, the international gateway to Israel, from March 26, 2017 (subject to government approval), enhancing connectivity between key “One Belt, One Road” markets, and providing business travellers in Asia with better access to Israel’s business hub.

The new service, which will be operated by Cathay Pacific’s state-of-the-art Airbus A350-900 aircraft, will provide greater convenience for business customers travelling between the two cities.

The design of the cabin features will give passengers enhanced sleeping experience, entertainment, and will offer them greater control over how they want to use the space, for working or to relax. With its extra wide body, the aircraft offers more space and comfort, and is designed for the wellbeing of passengers, with a quiet cabin, panoramic windows, and huge overhead lockers, all contribute to a more comfortable and relaxing journey in all cabin classes.

Tel Aviv is Israel’s largest commercial and technological hub and is recognised as one of the world’s leading financial centres. Often described as “the city that never stops”, the coastal metropolis lies within easy reach of ancient Jerusalem. www.cathaypacific.com
