Arcane Serves New Summer Flavours

Vegetarian business travellers in Hong Kong should check out the Arcane, a hidden dining gem set amid the hustle and bustle of Central. Celebrating summer with the finest seasonal vegetables specially sourced from France and Japan, the refined dining restaurant offers a new menu featuring vegetarian delicacies as well as dishes that carefully pair summer greens with seafood or scrumptious sweetbread.

The new items on the menu that boasts fresh summer flavours include refreshing  green asparagus with truffle potato paired with English mustard mayonnaise and hazelnuts; succulent sautéed langoustines with broccolini, girolles and sweet garlic purée; decadent veal sweetbread paired with Jerusalem artichokes, new season onion, crushed peas and truffle jus; tender steamed kinmedai, leek and baby bok choi paired with a veloute of cucumber, white grapes and spring onion; and last but not least, the exquisite panfried seabass paired with courgette and basil purée, saffron potatoes and cloudy bay clams.

Nothing beats the summer heat better than a pint of ice cold Guinness. Chef Osborn has created an addictive dark chocolate tart paired with Guinness ice-ream and topped with chocolate sugar. www.arcane.hk
