Anantara Kalutara Resort Launches a Luxury Ballroom

Sri Lanka’s Anantara Kalutara Resort has unveiled its luxurious 680sqm ballroom, complementing the property’s indoor and outdoor pre-function spaces overlooking the Kalu River, while offering business travellers another event space option with world-class services.

Inspired by Sri Lanka’s rich culture and heritage, the Anantara Kalutara’s new ballroom offers a unique setting for meetings, events, and corporate retreats, complete with world-class leisure and dining facilities.

Designed for maximum flexibility, the pillar-less ballroom can be divided into two equal sound-proof spaces, making it ideal for meetings and smaller gatherings. The ballroom is fully-equipped with an advanced, state-of-the-art lighting system, as well as full audio-visual and entertainment infrastructure.

Providing an ideal venue for a reception of up to 400 guests, and banquets and gala dinners for up to 350, the new event space at the Anantara Kalutara also caters to meetings in classroom and theatre style with up to 350 attendees. In addition, four meeting rooms are available for breakouts and meetings, while a dedicated meetings and events team is on hand to provide personalised planning and delivery of each event.
