Accor Opens Mecure in Yangon

Accor Hotels has opened the new 183-room Mercure Yangon Kaba Aye in Myanmar’s commercial capital, an ideal retreat for business travellers and long-stay guests.

Mercure Yangon Kaba Aye is located along Kaba Aye Pagoda Road just 10 km from Yangon International Airport and a short drive from the University of Yangon.

Featuring high ceilings and generous floor spaces of 32 sqm to 125 sqm, the new hotel‘s guestroom décor draws inspiration from local Myanmar culture and craftsmanship and includes traditional lacquerware. The rooms offer views of swimming pool or landscaped gardens, while suites on the higher floors overlook the panoramic view of the city’s lush greenery. The suites also come with a fully equipped kitchenette and a separate lounge and dining room.
